We’ve appointed Paragon Interiors Group Plc (Paragon) to design and fit-out our new Birmingham office at One Central Boulevard on Blythe Valley Business Park, Solihull.
You may remember that last month we announced that we would be relocating from 8 Calthorpe Road in the city centre to a new 17,810 sq ft office at IM Properties’ Blythe Valley in April.
We chose to go with Paragon, the leading UK specialist in interior design, construction, fit-out and refurbishment, as they also designed and fitted out our 26,000 sq ft Sky View ‘super-office’ at East Midlands Airport in 2014.
The office won a stream of accolades for its bold design and radical reimagining of the workplace, with a dream room, tree-house, complete with swing, idea pods and two play areas featuring a pool table, space invaders and table tennis table.
Our new West Midlands office will be similarly ground-breaking. Features will include a wellbeing tent, swings, flexible work areas for agile working, and a sports bar.
Ade Cheatham, CEO, said: "One Central Boulevard will provide us with modern, high-specification, grade A office facilities.
"The new West Midlands base has been designed to be flexible, to encourage creativity and collaborative working. Once again we have chosen to work with Paragon to create another leading edge design, with lots of quirky and fun features thrown in - from Narnia cupboards to Segways, not to mention a running track – to 'wow' our staff and clients alike.
"We have ambitious growth plans and are planning to double our market share in the West Midlands over the next two years, adding new expertise and talent across the team. Our offices will play a major part in that.”
Lee Harris, Executive Commercial Director for Paragon, stated: “It is fantastic to be working with PKF Cooper Parry again. They have such open minds to how creative design and great quality can reinforce company culture and values.
“We pride ourselves on getting incredibly close to our clients before we even put pen to paper and forming their design. By getting under the skin of an organisation, we can find and extract their DNA plus what makes them different. Only then can we create working environments that not only reflect and reinforce a company culture but also demonstrate an evolution. Having been a part of the journey of growth for PKF Cooper Parry we can't wait to start the next chapter over in the West Midlands."
