Fancy grabbing a few colleagues and challenging yourselves to a 10k Run? We’re sponsoring the Great Birmingham Run Business Challenge in April.

The PKF Cooper Parry Business Challenge is open to small, medium and large businesses in the Great Birmingham 10K on Sunday, April 30. Trophies are handed out to winning businesses and any company that enters 12 or more employees will receive its own engraved plaque in the name of the fastest runner in the team.

Register your business team now to enter. But don’t worry, if you fancy a bigger challenge…we have a half marathon coming up in October!

Your clients need the right adviser to provide leadership in difficult times.

That’s where we come in.

Come along to our breakfast seminar to see how we cut through the noise and help your clients focus on what really matters.

Our themes for the morning will be:

  • Disrupt – Paul Hayes, our IT Solutions Director, will look at the disruptive effect of cyber-attacks and social media
  • Lead – Lee Brocklehurst from PKF Cooper Parry’s Restructuring team, will look at different leadership types and communication styles and how the owner managers and their advisers need to adapt as the business evolves
  • Make Life Count – Paul Maurice, company director, will talk about his recent experience with PKF Cooper Parry and how we added value to his business

Sign up here or email our Events Team at events@pkfcooperparry.com.

Here at PKF Cooper, brand is something hugely important to us. It’s a way of communicating our values and the way we are, all without the use of words. It creates an opportunity to show differences and create choices.

Not-for-profit brand loyalty depends upon connecting with audiences on an emotional level – and those deep connections can best be achieved through an authentic brand that communicates the unique, distinctive essence and purpose of the organisation.

We have invited a leading expert in brand strategy – Ollie Leggett, MD and Brand Consultant at IE – to talk about the importance of brand. He’ll describe how brands develop, how they reflect the organisations they represent – and the perils of straying from your core DNA.

It’s never just about a logo. It’s about finding your voice, defining your identity and enriching the conversation you’re having with your audiences – always ensuring your organisation’s core values are at the heart of everything you do.
