We're set to sponsor Simplyhealth Great Birmingham Run Business Challenge
We’re proud to announce that we’re title sponsor of the Simplyhealth Great Birmingham Run and Great Birmingham 10K Business Challenge events. We’ll sponsor this year’s two Business Challenge events, which invite companies from across the Midlands to compete and become the fastest teams.
The PKF Cooper Parry Business Challenge is open to small, medium and large businesses in the Great Birmingham 10K on Sunday, April 30, or the Great Birmingham Run half marathon on Sunday, October 15, the same day as the inaugural Birmingham International Marathon.
Trophies are handed out to winning businesses and any company that enters 12 or more employees will receive its own engraved plaque in the name of the fastest runner in the team.
The four fastest collective times by participants are added up for each team to pick the overall winners.
Over 60 teams took part in last year’s Great Birmingham Run and 10K Business Challenges, from a variety of business sectors and sizes across the Midlands.
Our Chief Executive, Ade Cheatham, said: “It is important for us to be supporting events like this and give something back to the community in which we live and work.
“Two of our core values are ‘have fun’ and ‘be generous’, which fits perfectly with these events and we see this as a great opportunity for businesses to engage with each other, get fit and raise much-needed funds for local causes.”
David Hart, communications director for the Simplyhealth Great Birmingham run events, said: “The Business Challenge is a great way for colleagues to boost team spirit and get in shape.
“We’re thrilled to have PKF Cooper Parry on board as sponsor and looking forward to working with them on these great Birmingham events.”
